Sheri Jones, Vice President of Administrative Services
Sheri Jones joined Bridgepoint Education, a provider of innovative solutions that advance learning, in November, 2005. As Vice President of Administrative Services, she oversees several student-related functional areas for Bridgepoint, including policy and implementation, institutional research, student and alumni affairs, career services, imaging services and the registrar functions.
Ms. Jones' career in higher education spans more than 21 years. Before being promoted to Vice President of Administrative Services, Ms. Jones served as University Registrar and Director of Institutional Research for Ashford University, an academic institution owned by Bridgepoint Education. In this role, Ms. Jones was responsible for the creation of three essential functional areas: the Office of Institutional Research, the Office of Policy and Implementation, and a team specializing in Online Student and Alumni Affairs. She has participated in a number of additional projects that demonstrate her fluency in licensure, accreditation and legal compliance; information system planning and implementation; and the institutionalization of modern academic policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint Education, Ms. Jones served in various leadership positions in higher education, including Director of Student Services and Administration for Argosy University, Executive Director of Student Services and Administration for IMPAC University and Director of Student Services for the Georgia School of Professional Psychology.
In maintaining Bridgepoint’s commitment to enriching lives in the communities it serves, Ms. Jones serves on the Board of Directors for the Jenna Druck Center, and is also a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, the Association of Student Affairs in Higher Education (NASPA), the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, and the Association for Institutional Research.
Ms. Jones holds an MS in Education with a Specialization in Leadership for Higher Education from Capella University and a BS in Psychology from Averett University.
