CEO Message

Social responsibility has always been a core value at Bridgepoint Education, and in 2017, our employees truly embodied this value. Employees participated in our numerous company-sponsored volunteer events and donation drives, while members of our management team served on the Boards of Directors for 21 different nonprofit organizations.

Each year, we seek new ways to be active and responsible members in the community. Our organization has begun offering employees 8 paid hours per year to volunteer in the nonprofit of their choice. Employees embraced this new benefit, volunteering with approximately 175 various organizations. I am proud to report that our employees have logged 23,050 hours of volunteer time this year, demonstrating yet again why we call them "Heroes." Our organization donated $706,907 back to the community through corporate giving. Due to Bridgepoint's commitment to community involvement, we were awarded the 2017 Communitas Award for Leadership in Community Service through Corporate Social Responsibility.

Thank you for your interest in our social responsibility efforts. I am pleased to share the highlights from this year and I look forward to what we will accomplish together in 2018.

Andrew Clark, CEO
