At Bridgepoint Education, we strive to incorporate a culture of giving into our mission and values. To encourage employees to embrace this culture, we sponsor several volunteer events and also offer employees an opportunity to receive a paid day off to volunteer at charities that are meaningful to them. Together with friends, family, and Ashford University students, our whole organization, in four locations, came together for our annual “Heroes Day” volunteer event.
In 2018, we also held several donation drives to support people in need. Our teams donated clothing for military families, school supplies for children, and food items for families in need. We also held seven blood drive events at our locations.
For our combined efforts, our organization was honored to receive the Silver Stevie Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year from the American Business Awards. I would like to thank our employees and partners for their time and hard work. It is inspiring to see our employees’ dedication and commitment to giving back.
Please enjoy the rest of the community report which highlights just a few of our community initiatives from 2018. We look forward to an impactful 2019.
