Bridgepoint Education (NYSE: BPI), today unveiled Thuze, a digital learning environment, at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Thuze is a cloud-based, multi-platform, collaborative learning environment for students to interact with their etextbooks and each other, providing them the resources to work from their desktops one minute and on the go with their tablets and smartphones the next.
Beth Aguiar, vice president of Learning Resources and Publishing at Bridgepoint, introduced Thuze at CES's Living in Digital Times press conference held at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) on Tuesday.
"CES is an incredible venue to showcase how Thuze is making learning personal, social, and flexible," said Aguiar. "We've seen tremendous interest and great feedback at our booth today, and we're looking forward to demonstrating the power of collaborative learning here at CES for the rest of this week."
Bridgepoint Education, a provider of innovative solutions that advance learning, developed the cloud-based Thuze to improve and expand the user experience across multiple devices. Thuze is launching as a pilot program with major publishers, including Jones and Bartlett Learning, McGraw-Hill Education and Pearson.
Thuze is available for demos at CES from January 10-13 in the LVCC's North Hall at Booth 3206.
