Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI) has hired Linda Mignone, a seasoned marketing professional, as the company's Vice President of Marketing.
Reporting to Ross Woodard, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Bridgepoint Education, Mignone will oversee the activities of Bridgepoint's broad-ranging marketing team to include Creative, New Media and Marketing.
"The breadth and depth of Linda's experience in the business of marketing, advertising and brand strategy will make her a valuable member of the Bridgepoint Education team," stated Woodard.
Mignone's 17-year career has spanned domestic and international marketing in public and private companies in the business of education, professional marketing and sales, hospitality, transportation and logistics, and information technology. Most recently with Kaplan Higher Education, she developed national, integrated brand and direct response strategies that encompassed research, creative, media and communications from concept to multi-channel execution.
